mrs. danielle batista (head of Portuguese program)

Danielle Batista has been at home at RIS for 11 years, and the reason she chose to work here was because God chose her. Her favorite food is Caeser salad and her favorite part of the job is seeing her foreign students speaking Portuguese. Originally from Rio, the coolest place Danielle has ever been is the northeast of Brazil.

Ana Lucia Macabu has been in the RIS family for eleven years, and chose to work at RIS because it is a Christian school. Her favorite food is stroganoff, and her favorite part of her job is the students. In her free time she likes to travel, read, and listen to music. She has worked at other schools in Brazil prior to finding her home at RIS.

Cathia Lira has been in the RIS family for 2 years, and her favorite part of her job is the children and her co workers. She has worked at other schools in Rio, Sao Paulo, and Brasilia. The coolest place she’s ever been is Florence, Italy, and she loves being with her family in her free time.

Valeria Pimenta has been in the RIS for 2 years. Her favorite part of her job is being in the classroom, and her favorite food is stroganoff. She chose to work at RIS because of the family-based atmosphere. Valeria is originally from Rio de Janeiro, but her favorite place is Gramado.She likes to read, go to the beach, and be with her family in her free time.
