Ministry of Education (Brazil)
Rio International School is also locally accredited by the Brazilian Department of Education. This accreditation ensures that our students credits will transfer to local Brazilian schools as well as allows RIS to confer the Brazilian High School Diploma, recognized throughout Brazil. Local Brazilian accreditation is yet another level of check and balances that allow our school to maintain high standards across educational standards.
